Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

solar turbine spares

finds documents containing 'solar' or 'turbine' or 'spares'

solar or turbine or spares

same as above, finds documents containing 'solar' or 'turbine' or 'spares'

westinghouse and transmitter

finds documents containing both 'westinghouse' and 'transmitter'

woodward not governor

finds documents containing 'woodward' but not 'governor'

(atlas not copco) and compressor

finds documents containing 'compressor', plus 'atlas' but not 'copco'

flow*

finds documents containing words starting with 'flow'
